Tudo começou no futebol e em dois jovens buscando seus sonhos.
Saímos de países diferentes, um do Brasil, outro do México/Aregentina, e fomos parar na mesma universidade, nos mesmos corredores, rodeados pelos mesmos amigos. Até que um Spring Break esvaziou o campus e o tempo que passávamos juntos começou a dizer o que as palavras ainda não diziam.
Um de nós percebeu primeiro. O outro demorou um pouco mais. Tá bom, bastante. Mas deu bom. Muito.
A vida testou o que havia nascido. Países diferentes, dois anos de distância que pareciam vinte, e uma certeza que só crescia. Até que uma decisão foi tomada: deixar para trás família, amigos, uma carreira inteira, aprender português e vir para o Brasil.
Com o tempo, nossas famílias foram se encontrando. Dois mundos descobrindo que valorizavam as mesmas coisas: família, presença, momentos e amor.
Quando tudo começou, lá em 2018, nunca imaginamos tudo o que viveríamos juntos. Nem que estaríamos aqui, planejando um casamento, cercados pelas pessoas que mais amamos. Se você está lendo isso, é porque fez parte dessa jornada de alguma forma. Obrigado por estar aqui e por fazer parte do próximo capítulo.
It all began with soccer and two young people chasing their dreams.
We came from different countries—one from Brazil, the other from Mexico/Argentina—and somehow ended up at the same university, walking the same hallways, surrounded by the same friends. Then came a Spring Break that emptied the campus, and the time we spent together started saying what words had not yet expressed.
One of us realized it first. The other took a little longer. Okay, a lot longer. But it worked out. More than we could have imagined.
Life put what had begun to the test. Different countries, two years apart that felt like twenty, and a certainty that only kept growing. Until one decision changed everything: leaving behind family, friends, an entire career, learning Portuguese, and moving to Brazil.
Over time, our families came together as well. Two worlds discovering that they valued the same things: family, presence, shared moments, and love.
When it all started back in 2018, we never imagined everything we would experience together. Nor that we would be here today, planning a wedding surrounded by the people we love most.
